Your voice reaches you partly through your skull, which carries the low end, so a recording sounds thin to you. Play the two one after the other. Headphones make the difference clearest. Only for listening here — what you publish stays as others hear you.
ElevenLabs' Voice Isolator takes out background noise, echo and hum much harder than Clean up can on this device. It works on the selected part of the take and uses your credits. The key needs the Voice Isolator permission. Once you use the isolated take, Clean up and voice conversion work on top of it.
ElevenLabs keeps how you said it — the sounds, the stress, the timing — and swaps whose voice it is. It converts the selected part of the take and uses your credits. The key needs the Voices (read) and Speech to Speech permissions.
The key is kept in this browser only and sent straight to ElevenLabs. Isolating or converting uploads the selected clip to ElevenLabs. Fine on localhost; a public version must make this call from a server so the key is never in the page.
